This limited edition and unique wine matures 8 feet underground, in the same stony, clay-rich soil in which the vines grow. Aged in Hungarian oak barrels for 28 months, with notes of baked banana and vanilla bean in addition to smoky charcoal and caramel on the nose. Pairs well with roasted game, local seafood and white sauce pastas. A limited production of only 220 cases bi-annually!
This wine is minimally handled as it is harvested, fermented and stored until it is time to transfer it to the barrels where the magic happens over a period of approximately 28 months. Then it is unearthed, settled and bottled unﬁltered. The results have led to incredibly unique product with rave reviews, that continues to delight customers and critics alike!
