Winemaking and Analysis
• This cold hardy and disease resistant ‘Kuhlmann” varietal has become a popular grape,
and single varietal wine for Luckett Vineyards over the last decade.
• Estate grown grapes with a small contribution from Andrew and Lise Rand, grape growers
near Cape Blomidon.
• Gentle hand plunging twice a day on the grape cap, helped with good flavor extraction and
a healthy fermentation.
• Full malolactic fermentation.
• 730 cases produced.
